Aaron Cummins, LCSW, APRN, PMHNP
Aaron is a psychiatric nurse practitioner and licensed clinical social worker dedicated to helping individuals improve their quality of life, strengthen social connections, and find greater purpose and fulfillment. His background spans community mental health, psychiatric hospitals, crisis intervention, private practice, substance use treatment, and community outreach and education.
Having served in leadership roles in both nursing and social work, Aaron brings a broad, integrative perspective to his clinical work. He enjoys working with adolescents, adults, older adults, and individuals with special needs. His areas of special interest include depression, anxiety, addiction, and schizophrenia.
While in graduate school at The University of Texas at Austin, Aaron was awarded the UT Dell Medical School Integrated Behavioral Health Care Scholarship and contributed to research exploring the use of virtual reality for substance use treatment. He is also trained and certified in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
Aaron believes in a holistic, evidence-based approach to care, combining multiple modalities to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
